PDO Thread Lift
PDO thread lifts are a non-surgical way of tightening and rejuvenating the skin for a younger appearance. The threads used in this procedure are made of polydioxanone (PDO), an extremely safe material often used in heart surgeries. It does not produce allergic reactions or rejection and has no side effects. These threads dissolve naturally in around 6-8 months, with the effects lasting from 12 up to 24 months. The threads also stimulate the synthesis of collagen and fibroblasts and increase oxygenation of the skin over time, meaning the results of the procedure continue to improve after 6-8 weeks.
